McLeod Health Cheraw awarded its second DAISY award to Chelsey Haire, RN, on January 30. A nurse in the Medical Surgical Unit, Chelsey’s servant’s heart and true compassion have impacted many of the patients and families at McLeod Health Cheraw.

Chelsey’s nomination for the DAISY award included, “Chelsey has gone above and beyond her nursing duties. She has taken time to talk to us and try to reassure us. We have had to make some hard decisions concerning our loved one and she just encouraged us so much. We could feel how much she was concerned about us and about our Mom. Chelsey is so kind and compassionate, and she treated us as if we were part of her family. She is a jewel and deserves recognition.”
