An Open House event was held on February 19 to commemorate the opening of the McLeod Choice Infusion Services location at McLeod Health Carolina Forest. The open house included a tour, details about services, patient care coordination, and benefits of care at this location. This new offering is the first time Infusion Services will be provided to patients at our Carolina Forest Campus.

McLeod Choice Infusion Services is also opening a location in Florence on the campus of McLeod Regional Medical Center. An open house for the new Florence location of McLeod Choice Infusion Services will be held on February 25 at 4:30 p.m. in McLeod Medical Park West, 101 S. Ravenel Street in Suite 220. The Infusion Services team plans to begin treating patients at both locations the week of March 2.

These new infusion locations will work in direct collaboration with the system’s existing Infusion/IV Therapy footprint and will be McLeod Health’s first alternative site of care for Infusion Services, allowing us to expand our care offerings to a wider variety of patients. 

Patients and Providers can expect:

• A calm, private environment where patients can receive infusions or injections of specialty medications from a highly skilled nursing team
• An alternative site of care for infusion treatment when patients’ insurance payers require it
• A dedicated Medication Access Team who works closely with providers and patients to take care of any prior authorization and coordination of care needs and to help patients afford their treatments

McLeod Choice Infusion Services on the campus of McLeod Health Carolina Forest is located at 107 McLeod Health Blvd, Medical Office Building #2, Suite 205.
