McLeod Vascular Surgeon Dr. Eva Rzucidlo demonstrated how to prepare a healthy holiday meal for the McLeod Stroke Survivors Support Group on October 18.

Dr. Rzucidlo received her inspiration for healthy cooking from her grandmother. As a vascular surgeon, Dr. Rzucidlo encourages people to adopt healthy eating habits to protect their heart and vascular system.

The Stroke Survivors Support Group meets each month at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Meetings include blood pressure checks and review of stroke warning signs as well as an opportunity to build relationships and support one another in the journey.
