McLeod Seacoast is pleased to announce Shelley Szabo, DPT, PT was recently awarded the 2014 Clinical Instructor of the Year by the Medical University of South Carolina’s Physical Therapy Education program.

Each year, students that participated in the program were offered the opportunity to nominate an instructor that made a positive impact in their educational path. Nominations were based upon those clinical instructors who demonstrated an extraordinary level of clinical instruction and expertise in clinical practice.

“Shelley lives our values of caring, person, quality, and integrity on a daily basis – I am proud that MUSC PT program has provided her this recognition,” said Scott Montgomery, Director of Physical Rehabilitation, McLeod Loris Seacoast.

Since 2011, Shelley has taken on average of 3-4 students per year. Her efforts to help shape the future of the profession are to be commended.
