Plans Being Finalized for 5th Annual McLeod Loris Seacoast Foundation Ball

McLEOD LORIS 12 JULY 2013

(7/10/2013) While many are enjoying fun in the sun during their summer vacation, the McLeod Loris Seacoast Foundation Ball Committee is busy finalizing preparations for the 5th Annual McLeod Loris Seacoast Foundation Ball.

On Saturday, August 17, 2013, the ball committee will host "Wonderland" at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort. The grand ballroom will be magically transformed into scenes from the children’s story, "Alice in Wonderland".

Guests may start the evening off by participating in a silent auction during a cocktail reception, followed by a delicious gourmet dinner and dancing with live entertainment provided by the band, "Too Much Sylvia".

"We are excited about our 5th Annual Foundation Ball and all that we have to celebrate this year. The proceeds from this year’s event will be benefiting the Labor and Delivery Department at McLeod Loris and the Pediatric Rehabilitation program at McLeod Seacoast," said Kelly Hughes, Executive Director of the McLeod Loris Seacoast Foundation.

The McLeod Loris Seacoast Ball committee consists of ladies from both the North Myrtle Beach and Loris communities. This year’s committee includes Rima Hulen, Jeri McDowell, Diane Bast, Deb Bramlett, Faye Chowning, Jenna Cox, Anne Elliott, Leslie Elliott, Kathy Foxworth Garrell, Shannon Hardee, Jane Harvey, Mary Katherine Heniford, Angie Johnson, Kendall Khoury, Michelle Love, Charlene Lynam, Dolly McDermott, Heather Smith, Olivia Lake Stocks, Hazel Teal, Joyce Thomas, Emily Tinsley, Rebekah Wallace and Callie Wise.

About McLeod Loris Seacoast Foundation

The McLeod Loris Seacoast Foundation was established in 2006 as an independent, not-for-profit, charitable organization charged with providing the philanthropic resources necessary to ensure McLeod Loris and McLeod Seacoast provide quality healthcare services and improve the overall quality of life in our local community. Gifts to the Foundation through special events, planned giving and online giving provide support to help fund mission critical programs, services and equipment.

The Foundation has raised more than $2 million to support the on-going expansion and capital projects at both McLeod Loris and McLeod Seacoast. These efforts have been made possible from the generous support of individuals and community partners who believe in making quality healthcare available to everyone in our community.
