McLeod Dillon is pleased to announce that Peter J. Kennebeck has been named Director of Engineering.  "I am looking forward to this new opportunity to use my God given talents and life work experience to fulfill the McLeod core values of service excellence here in Dillon," said Peter.  "The goal of our maintenance team is to build a safe location for our visitors and employees that will allow us to continue to provide medical excellence for our patients."

In his new role, Peter will oversee the projects and operations of the department.  

Peter has worked at McLeod Dillon since 2007.  

Peter started his career with McLeod Health on the McLeod Regional Medical Center campus in Florence, SC, as Real Estate Manager.  

Prior to joining McLeod, Peter’s career consisted of Hard Wood Lumber Production and owner of Trophy Timber Products, 2004-07.  He was Plant Engineer and Pine Lumber Production with Chesterfield Lumber Co. for 10 years.  He engineered and installed Sawmill Machinery for Harvey Engineering and Manufacturing Co. for 15 years.   Peter began his Engineering career with the United States Navy as Mobile Construction Battalion where he served for nine years.

He and his wife Nancy have six children and currently reside in Effingham, SC.
