The Department of Volunteer Services at McLeod Regional Medical Center has arranged for musicians from the community to entertain staff and visitors with “Joyful Sounds of the Season” during the month of December.
Musicians began offering music during the lunch hour on December 4 and will continue until December 29 between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Local performers include: Godric Armstrong, Madelyn Barnes, Chandler Bates, Anne Beck, Dottie Bowman and students, AJ Brown, Becky Brown, Russell Brown, Cadenza String Quartet, Aaron and Alex Cheng, Clarke Brothers, Alex Cotran, Alonzo Davis, Fiddlin’ Fluds, Robert Finger, Florence Christian High School Choir, Ansley Hatchell, Dana Howell, Zachary Hughes, Betsy Johnson, Vivian and Melody Jao, Alice and Gavin Li, Kelli Lovell – The King’s Academy, Judith Niebergall, Janice Saulters, Artelia Spears, Tegan Streett, Leon Verrett, Emily Wase, Holly Watkins and Daisy Wei.
The Grand Piano being played by many of the local musicians was donated by Dr. Andrew Rhea in memory of his son, William Rhea.
All are welcome to stop by the piano on the McLeod Concourse near the McLeod Center for Intensive Care entrance and listen to some of your holiday favorites.
