About McLeod Pelvic Health

McLeod Pelvic Health is dedicated to educating women on common pelvic health issues, including signs and symptoms as well as treatment options.

Nearly half of all women will experience symptoms related to pelvic health issues at some point in their lifetime. "Pelvic Health" is a new phrase used among professionals in women’s health, which refers to conditions such as endometriosis, urinary incontinence (overactive bladder and urine leakage), pelvic organ prolapse (uterus, bladder, and rectum) and more.

Many women consider these conditions too embarrassing to discuss with their physician, or they believe it is a normal part of aging. However, treatment options are available, ranging from simple exercises, medication or physical therapy to non-invasive or minimally invasive procedures.
