Dr. Chad Thurman talks with Ken Ard by skype about total joint replacements.

McLeod Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Chad Thurman and Louise Talbert, RN, with McLeod Hospice were guests on the Live 95 “Wake Up Carolina” radio show hosted by Ken Ard on Thursday, November 21.

A member of McLeod Orthopaedic Associates, Dr. Thurman educated the listeners on the direct anterior approach to hip replacement surgery. Ard and Dr. Thurman also discussed the hip injury suffered by Alabama Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa during the Mississippi State game and what his recovery will involve.

Ard also interviewed Talbert, a Clinical Nurse Manager, about hospice care the upcoming 34th Annual McLeod Hospice Tree Lighting ceremony on December 5.
