Dr. Allan McDonald talks with Ken Ard via Skype about the importance of having a primary care physician.

McLeod Family Medicine Physician Dr. Allan Macdonald and Amanda Lee, Nurse Practitioner with the McLeod Home-Based Palliative Care Program, were guests on the Live 95 “Good Morning Pee Dee” show with Host Ken Ard on Thursday, April 25.

Lee spoke with Ard about offering Palliative Care in patients’ homes. She added the Home-Based Palliative Care Program is expanding thanks to a grant received from The Duke Endowment to the McLeod Health Foundation.

Dr. Macdonald, Associate Director of the McLeod Family Medicine Residency Program, explained to Ard the importance of having a primary care physician and bringing all of your medications to appointments with your physician.
