(2/08/10) – The McLeod Sports Medicine Coaches Clinic is an educational seminar for all coaches who are responsible for the health and safety of recreational athletes. This free educational seminar is designed around spring sporting events. The agenda includes pitch count and throwing exercises, fast pitch and hitting techniques, lower extremity injury and conditioning, proper technique for stunting and tumbling, and sports psychology.
Presenters include: Dr. Brian Blair of McLeod Orthopaedics, Dr. Pat Denton of Pee Dee Orthopaedic Associates, Coach Wes Daniels of Pee Dee Academy, Coach Charlie Dentler and Coach Dana Shirley of Coastal Vibe Competitive Cheer, and Certified Athletic Trainers of McLeod Sports Medicine Center. The McLeod Sports Medicine Coaches Clinic will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the City of Florence Parks and Beautification located at 513 Barnes Street, Florence.
