McLeod Seacoast Pulmonary Team Raises Awareness of Lung Cancer Screenings

McLEOD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER 3 DECEMBER 2020

In recognition of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Melissa Miara and the staff of McLeod Pulmonary and Critical Care Seacoast encourages former smokers to be screened for lung cancer if they are between 55 and 80 years of age and smoked a pack of cigarettes a day for 30 years or two packs a day for 15 years.

The screening involves a low-dose CT scan. For more information on lung cancer screenings, click here.
