McLEOD SEACOAST OFFERS CERTIFIED SAFE SITTER COURSE

McLeod Safe Kids will be offering a Safe Sitter certified babysitting class this summer for girls and boys ages 11 to 13, at McLeod Seacoast, on June 26, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Safe Sitter class is a medically-based program, taught by certified instructions, that teaches young adults hands-on training in basic lifesaving procedures, helpful tips including safety precautions, how to relate to children of different ages and the business of babysitting, the release states.

The fee for the Safe Sitter class is $35 and includes materials, a certificate and lunch. Please make checks payable to McLeod Safe Kids.

McLeod Seacoast is located at 4000 Highway 9 East, Little River, SC. The class will be held inside the hospital in suite 245B.

McLeod Safe Kids is asking that parents or guardians accompany their child to class in the morning to provide vital information needed for participation.
