McLeod Seacoast is pleased to announce the recent addition of Fast Track patient treatment areas within the Emergency Department.

To accommodate patient needs, five Fast Track areas have been developed. These newly developed areas offer less critical emergency patients the opportunity to receive treatment in a timely manner. The existing emergency patient treatment areas will now be available for all critical patients.

These Fast Track areas will offer a more efficient Emergency Department at McLeod Seacoast. Patient care is a core value of McLeod Health, which is the primary goal of this project. With the Fast Track development, patients will have a shorter wait time, offering better patient satisfaction with faster care.

“We recognized lower acuity patients waited lower time periods due to more critical patients care. Now, with five Fast Track patient treatment areas, we will be able to offer excellent care timely to both populations,” said Michele Davies, McLeod Seacoast Emergency Department Director.
