McLeod Regional Medical Center hosted a Women’s Health Panel on Thursday, March 14. More than 70 individuals attended the event to learn more about key issues facing women in the areas of gynecology, gastroenterology, cardiology, and vascular health.

The event featured a panel of experts, including Dr. Candice Greenan with McLeod OB/GYN Associates, Dr. Eric Coughlin with McLeod Women’s Care, Dr. Veeral Oza with McLeod Digestive Health Center, Dr. Evans Holland with McLeod Cardiology Associates, and Dr. Eva Rzucidlo with McLeod Vascular Associates.

Sabrina Capell, Associate Vice President of Patient Services at McLeod Regional Medical Center, moderated the panel.

“The McLeod Women’s Panel is designed to answer any questions women may have about their health related to specific specialties,” says Capell. “Information on routine screenings as well as more complex health conditions were discussed. Women most often put the care of their families and loved ones above their own, and it is important to us that women get the answers and care they need.”

McLeod Health Clarendon will host the next Women’s Health Panel on April 25, 2019 at the Central Carolina Technical College F.E. Dubose Campus. Free physical breast exams will be offered from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the dinner and discussion immediately following from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. For more information or to RSVP, call McLeod Reservations & Scheduling at (843) 777-2005.
