(1/3/2014)  At 11:50 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1, McLeod Loris not only welcomed the first baby of the New Year born at the hospital but also the very first baby born in Horry County in 2014.

Ron’Dazia Camir Riggins weighed in at 6 lb. 7.3 oz. and was 19 inches long. She is the daughter of proud parents Sherelda Grate and Ron Dale Riggins of Loris.

The family was presented with a pink bow for the mother’s door and a bag of baby gifts in honor of the first birth of the New Year from the McLeod Loris Gift Shop compliments of McLeod Loris Seacoast Auxiliary.
