McLeod Loris and McLeod Seacoast Awarded Accreditation from the Joint Commission

(1/18/12) – McLeod Loris and McLeod Seacoast have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ for accreditation by demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for healthcare quality and safety in hospitals. The Joint Commission conducted an unannounced on-site evaluation at both locations earlier this month. The three-year accreditation recognizes the dedication at McLeod Loris and McLeod Seacoast to continuous compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards.

Ongoing compliance with Joint Commission standards results in sound management practices in the delivery of safe, high quality care. These include hospital leadership’s commitment to continuously raise quality and patient safety to higher levels.
