McLeod Health has won two Aster Awards for excellence in healthcare advertising. It received a gold award for a commercial spot featuring 2D animation and a bronze award for a long-form video produced for the new McLeod Health website.
The Aster Awards, one of the largest national competitions of its kind, is hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images, Inc. This elite program recognizes outstanding healthcare professionals for excellence in their advertising/marketing efforts each year. The 2017 Aster Awards received nearly 3,000 entries from the United States and several foreign countries. Entries were reviewed by a panel of industry experts and were scored on multiple criteria with a possibility of 100 total points.
“It’s exciting to see how the quality and creativity of the work submitted increases each year. The 2017 Aster Awards program brought together some of the best and most creative advertising in the world,” said Melinda Lucas, Aster Awards program coordinator.
Other 2017 winners include New York’s Mount Sinai Health System, Humana and the American Heart Association.
“It’s a great honor to see our advertising ranked among the best healthcare marketing in the country,” said Jumana Swindler, Vice President of Marketing and Public Information for McLeod Health. “We work closely with our business development partner, LHWH, to inform our communities that we are dedicated to improving their health by providing excellence in medical care.”
McLeod Health recently also won an international award for Outstanding Website from the prestigious Web Marketing Association. McLeod Health was honored along with an illustrious group of Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) winners for its new website.
