McLeod Health welcomes David E. Krusling, MD, and Joseph J. Marmora, MD, to the medical staff.
Dr. Krusling joins McLeod Emergency Physicians and the McLeod Regional Medical Center Medical Staff. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Krusling comes to McLeod from the Emergency Department of Carolina Care at MUSC-Providence Northeast Hospital Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina. During his residency training, he received the Academic Achievement Award for the highest score on the National Inservice Exam. Throughout his 18 years of practicing medicine, Dr. Krusling has served on the medical staff for Lexington Medical Center, Bamberg Hospital, Kershaw Health, and Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Krusling received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2002. Dr. Marmora is part of the excellent team of McLeod Cardiology Associates at Seacoast. Prior to joining McLeod Health, Dr. Marmora practiced at the Atlantic Medical Group in Springfield, New Jersey. Dr. Marmora is an experienced, Board Certified General and Interventional Cardiologist. He diagnoses and treats a broad range of heart disease. In his role as an Interventional Cardiologist, he specializes in cardiac catheterization procedures. He received his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, in Maywood, Illinois, and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. He completed his Cardiovascular Fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center, also in Maywood, Illinois, and his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. Dr. Marmora and his colleagues manage patients with blockages in the coronary arteries which supply the heart muscle, including emergency procedures for acute heart attacks, as well as elective procedures for patients with suspected coronary artery disease.
