McLeod Health Welcomes These New Physicians

Dr. David Steflik joins the McLeod family as a pediatric cardiologist and Dr. Yazan Haddadin joins the McLeod Critical Care Specialists

McLeod Health welcomes David J. Steflik, MD, and Yazan Haddadin, MD, to the medical staff.

Dr. Steflik cares for patients at McLeod Pediatric Cardiology, formerly McLeod Pediatric Subspecialists, and McLeod Children’s Hospital. He conducts evaluations of murmurs, chest pain, syncope, dizziness, palpitations, hypertension, arrhythmias, failed CCHD screens, cyanosis, exercise intolerance, and any complaint or finding in which there is concern for involvement of the cardiovascular system. Dr. Steflik also follows and treats patients with simple to complex congenital heart disease and acquired heart disease, utilizing echocardiography, electrocardiography, X-rays, holter monitoring, event monitoring, and exercise stress testing.

Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology, Dr. Steflik earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in August, Georgia. He completed his pediatrics residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Steflik also completed fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology and Advanced Cardiac Imaging at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Dr. Haddadin has joined Dr. Scott Dryzer, Dr. Marwan Elya, Dr. Ife Eruchalu, Dr. William Hazelwood, Dr. Christopher Keen, Dr. Elina Levin and Dr. James Yarnal as part of McLeod Critical Care Specialists. These specialists care for inpatients at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease, Dr. Haddadin earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Amman, Jordan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Dr. Haddadin also completed a fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.
