The Sumter Item also announced the results of its annual Best of Clarendon contest. We are pleased to share that their readers voted McLeod Health Clarendon: Best Medical Center, Best Place to Work, Best Orthopedic Care and Best Place to Volunteer. Additionally, we received Best Family Practice – Eagerton Family Practice; Best Pediatric Doctor – Dr. Lisa Heichberger, McLeod Primary Care Clarendon; Best Cardiologist – McLeod Cardiology Associates Clarendon; Best in Home Care – McLeod Home Health Clarendon and Best Day Spa – The Spa at McLeod Health Clarendon. In the Best of Sumter contest, Dr. Ryan Garbalosa with McLeod Cardiology Associates was voted Best Cardiologist by readers of the Sumter Item.

Earlier this year, the Dillon Herald and Dillon County Shopper announced its Best of the Best winners. Readers of these publications honored McLeod Physicians Dr. Stephen Jones, Dr. Mamdouh Mijalli and Dr. Joseph Wangeh.

The Chesterfield County News and Shopper also recognized a staff member with McLeod Health Cheraw for being Best of Chesterfield County. Their readers voted Molly Rose as Best Nurse.
