McLeod Health hosted an open house and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, January 15, in conjunction with the Greater Sumter Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the opening of McLeod Occupational Health Sumter.

“In March of 2018, McLeod was invited to Sumter to attend a meeting of local Human Resources representatives. One of the concerns expressed was the lack of Occupational Health services in the area,” said Octavia Williams-Blake, Vice President of Workplace Health and Safety. “I want those representatives to know, McLeod heard you. We are pleased to add McLeod Occupational Health Sumter to the existing practices of McLeod Cardiology Associates and McLeod Orthopaedics in Sumter. Our goal is to provide quality care to area residents, employees and their family members.”

Located at 540 Physicians Lane, McLeod Occupational Health Sumter will offer the following services: work related injury/illness treatment, onsite X-ray and EKG services, DOT Certified Exams and Physicals, Pre-employment Physicals, Comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs, Spirometry Testing, Labs, Lead Blood Testing, Firefighter Physicals, Wellness Programs including Screenings and Disease Care Management, Flu Shots, as well as Immunizations and Vaccinations. Workers Compensation is also accepted.
