The 2015 McLeod Health Foundation Sporting Clays Classic, presented by Sportsman’s Choice Marine, raised more than $21,000 for the Children’s Services at McLeod Loris Seacoast. The tournament was held on Saturday, May 16, at Low Country Preserve in Tabor City, NC.
Last year, McLeod Loris Seacoast treated more than 700 children. From the smallest newborn babies to those nearing their teen years, McLeod Loris Seacoast’s goal is to make sure every child gets quality care when they need it most. The monies raised from the Sporting Clays Classic will purchase child-size equipment for our Emergency Departments, a pediatric security system and a pediatric resuscitation cart.
The McLeod Health Foundation had more than 40 participants at the event. Dinner, prizes and awards immediately followed the tournament. The winners were divided into 3 classes based on skill level. Along with the 3 classes, there was also a First Place Youth Division Winner and First Place Women’s Division Winner.
