McLEOD DILLION 6 SEPTEMBER 2010

(9/06/10) – McLeod Medical Center Dillon is now partnering with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in the MUSC REACH Stroke Network. Supported in part by Health Sciences South Carolina, this potentially life-saving network provides patients of McLeod Dillon with immediate, 24/7 access to the stroke care experts at MUSC.
This is a tremendous benefit to our community. You see, when it comes to stroke, time lost is brain lost. The longer it takes a stroke patient to receive care, the greater the chances of permanent disability or even death. Working with MUSC stroke experts, doctors at McLeod Dillon can diagnose and treat stroke patients with the latest therapies quickly and without delays. This gives patients the best chance of returning to pre-stroke health.
