McLeod Children’s Hospital now provides family asthma education classes for children ages five to 11. Taught by McLeod Certified Asthma Educators, these free classes are held on the first Thursday of each month in the McLeod Pavilion Conference Center (801 East Cheves Street, Florence) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

During the class, parents and children will learn how to manage the child’s asthma through fun, interactive activities.

Food will be provided, and space is limited. A parent or guardian must attend with the child.

Upcoming classes will be held on August 2, September 6, October 4, November 1 and December 6.
