Make Your Voice Heard: Conversations about End of Life Care

(11/02/10) – In Recognition of National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, McLeod Hospice will host a community forum to discuss how families approach the issues surrounding end of life care on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Florence County Library.

Panelists will include: Rev. Thomas Pietila, Director of Pastoral Services for McLeod Health; J. Porter Lillis, Professor of Sociology at Francis Marion University; Mrs. Gena Phillips Ervin, Attorney; and Dr. Mark Fox, Medical Director of McLeod Hospice.

The community is invited to participate and ask questions of the panelists. Light refreshments will also follow the program.
