(4/08/12) – Employees of McLeod Loris and McLeod Seacoast have been busy with activities related to raising awareness and financial support for the March of Dimes and Relay for Life.

Last week, a bake sale was held to raise funds for the McLeod Loris March of Dimes team. Co-captains Donna Traub and Lynn Huneycutt are planning future events to raise awareness and help bring an end to pre-mature babies. The March of Dimes Walk will be held on Saturday, April 28 at Coastal Carolina University.

Other fundraising efforts currently underway are t-shirt sales to support the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life to be held in Loris on Friday, May 4. The McLeod Loris Seacoast team is also offering individuals the chance to honor a loved one lost to cancer. Luminaries are also available and the name of the loved one will be read the night of the event.
