The McLeod Foundation is pleased to announce that the McLeod Employee Campaign has topped the record breaking goal of $1,110,000. During the 2016 McLeod Foundation Employee Campaign, staff members raised more than $1,250,000 – the most money raised during the campaign in the history of the Foundation.

The Foundation also recognized the McLeod Darlington team for having 100 percent participation in the campaign.

Since the McLeod Foundation began in 1987, employees have raised more than $9 million to support patient care at McLeod Health. They are also the largest donors to the Foundation.

“The participation of our employees and the amount of money raised, demonstrates how much the members of our McLeod family believe in and support the mission of the McLeod Foundation,” said Jill Bramblett, Executive Director. “Many services and programs would not be available without the support of our own people who give from their hearts to make a difference for our patients.”

The McLeod Health Foundation was established to help generate philanthropic and community support for McLeod Health. The first year in existence the Foundation raised $100,000. Since that time, more than $58 million has been raised from a very generous community that includes employees, corporations, organizations and individual donors. The importance of this support is evident in many of the projects funded solely by the McLeod Foundation such as the McLeod Hospice House, the McLeod Mobile Mammography Unit, the McLeod HeartReach and ChildReach Ambulances and the Guest House at McLeod.
