During the month of October, McLeod Health was selected to receive funds from WBTW and Florence Toyota as part of the 3 Degree Guarantee. The donation benefits McLeod Health Mammography Services.

The 3 Degree Guarantee program raises money for local charities each time an accurate forecast is made. The 3 Degree Guarantee forecast is revealed weeknights during the 11:00 newscast on WBTW. The following weekday, during the 6 p.m. newscast, the station releases the accuracy of that forecast. If the forecast is correct within three degrees, Florence Toyota donates $100 to the charity of the month.

McLeod Health received $1,800 from the 3 Degree Guarantee, signifying that the forecast was accurate 18 times in October.
