The Rotary Club of Cheraw recently received its District Grant in the amount of $2,500. This amount was matched by club members to fund projects in the local community that focus on students, their families and related needs.

The District 7770 approved projects include providing dictionaries to all third-grade students in Chesterfield County; collaborating with McArn Food Bank to raise money to deliver food in the Pee Dee for the Coronavirus Relief Fund; and distributing face coverings during Service Projects to community partners and essential workers.

The Rotary Club of Cheraw chose to donate masks to surrounding organizations and businesses to help fight the spread of COVID-19 in Chesterfield County including McLeod Health Cheraw.
