Cheraw Family Medicine is pleased to welcome Patricia Newsom Moore, Family Nurse Practitioner, to the practice.

With more than 33 years of nursing experience including occupational health, home health, diabetes education and wound care settings, Patricia recently received her Master’s in Nursing degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She joins Dr. Shaw Newsom and Dr. Alex Newsom in caring for patients at Cheraw Family Medicine.

"Throughout the years of my nursing career, I always liked the teaching aspect of nursing," she said. "I decided to become a Nurse Practitioner and join my brothers at Cheraw Family Medicine so I could have a greater impact on patients, especially in education about their health."

Cheraw Family Medicine recently announced an affiliation with McLeod Physician Associates to further enhance patient care for area families. For more than 50 years, Cheraw Family Medicine has delivered the highest quality medical treatment to patients close to home.
