McLeod Health Clarendon recently hosted its annual Volunteer Roundup Celebration, tipping its hat to the dedicated volunteers who help make a difference throughout the hospital. With a fun Western theme, the event featured country-style decorations, barbecue fare, music, and plenty of cowboy cheer.

Volunteers were recognized for their service, commitment, and compassion, with special awards presented to those who went above and beyond including:

Volunteer of the Year – Cheryl Coggins

Volunteer of the Decade – Barbara Patterson

Trailblazer Award for reaching 10,000 volunteer hours – Barbara Patterson

“Our volunteers are the heart of our hospital,” said Stacy Mosier, Volunteer Coordinator. “This roundup was our way of saying thank you—with a little Western flair—for all they do.”

The celebration brought together a wonderful community of individuals who give their time and talents to support patients, families, and staff.
