Eighty percent of strokes are preventable, yet it is expected that nearly 795,000 people in the United States will have a stroke this year. On average, someone has a stroke every 40 seconds.

McLeod Medical Center Dillon is pleased to announce that Lucinda Stroud, RN, has been named Directors of the Adult and Pediatric Medical/Surgical Unit.

Lucinda has been in healthcare for 30 years and has been a registered nurse since 1987.
