Medical Center Dietetic Internship

The Mission of the McLeod Regional Medical Center Dietetic Internship Program is to provide an accessible, clinical, and community-centered program where our graduates will practice evidence-based standards while caring for patients with complex nutritional needs, particularly in rural or under-served regions.

Current Accreditation Status:

The McLeod Regional Medical Center Dietetic Internship Program has been granted candidacy for accreditation status by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics. After successfully completing all program requirements, our interns are considered graduates of an ACEND-accredited program.
