Patients with emergent or chronic issues that require immediate attention at our emergency departments should not delay care. At McLeod Health, we have taken extensive precautions including limited visitors, masking, sanitizing and more to provide a safe environment for all our patients as they receive care.
Our Emergency Departments are open 24/7 and continue to safely treat those in need.
Visitor restrictions are in place to maintain appropriate social distancing and safety precautions for our patients and our staff. We will continue to follow CDC guidelines on visitation restrictions.
McLeod Health has implemented a masking policy that requires all physicians, employees, visitors, and incoming patients arriving for care, testing or moving throughout the facility to wear a mask while on a McLeod Health campus or in a physician office.
In addition to standard cleaning practices, common areas and high-touch areas are being sanitized frequently. Hand sanitizer is available for use throughout McLeod Health hospitals and physician offices.
