McLeod Health Welcomes These New Physicians

McLeod Health welcomes Rhonda Douglas, MD, and Michael Ouzts, DO, to the medical staff.

Board Certified in Anesthesiology with a subspecialty certification in Critical Care, Dr. Douglas joins the Anesthesia team at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Dr. Douglas received her medical degree from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at William Beaumont Health System, and her fellowship training at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. Dr. Douglas comes to McLeod following her service with Anesthesia Associates of Allentown, Pennsylvania where she also served as a Physician Liaison for the COVID-19 Anesthesia Taskforce.

Dr. Ouzts, a family medicine physician, joins Dr. Harry Jordan, Dr. Ansel McFaddin, Dr. Andrew Reynolds, Dr. Hugh Stoddard and Advanced Practice Providers Katherine Coffey, PA-C, James McMahon, FNP, and Emily Miller, PA-C, at Palmetto Adult Medicine. Dr. Ouzts provides primary care for men, women, and children and enjoys forging relationships with his patients and their families. A native of Manning, South Carolina, Dr. Ouzts comes to McLeod after having served as a hospitalist at Tidelands Health.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to return closer home, build relationships with my patients, and really make an impact in the community,” said Dr. Ouzts.
