Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends and helping out in the church. I am a huge sports fan.

Why I Chose McLeod: The ability to train unopposed is invaluable. Also there is a great sense of community pride, which is something my wife and I both enjoy. Medical mission trips are also offered and will prepare me for my future goals of international outreach medicine.

Class of 2018

Education: Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Carolina Campus

Hometown: North Myrtle Beach, SC

Hobbies/Interests: Reading - anything from medical texts to fiction/mysteries and spending time with my family

Why I Chose McLeod: I trained here as a medical student and really enjoyed working with everyone. It's also very close to home for me so I can see my family often. I lived in Florence for four years in college and consider it a home away for home -  so it's great to be back in the area.

Class of 2018

Education: University of Kansas, School of Medicine Wichita

Hometown: Argonia, KS

Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with family, church activities, spending time outside, cooking, reading, traveling

Why I Chose McLeod: The McLeod Residency Program is a good fit for me because I am interested in full-scope, hands-on medicine. I knew from my first visit, the people of McLeod are warm and welcoming, and the hospital is a comfortable environment. As a new intern, I recognize how residents have the chance to speak up and make a difference. All of these attributes are important to me, and I am thankful to have been chosen by McLeod.
