Whenever healthcare challenges arise, McLeod Health physicians and medical providers respond with innovative solutions to care for our patients. With situations such as the COVID-19 coronavirus, one of the hurdles is how to help patients stay at home and respect social distancing, but at the same time provide treatment for chronic conditions or emergent concerns without contributing to the spread of the virus.
 
During these difficult times, McLeod Physician Associates remains available to help you with all of your healthcare needs.  Now, when calling for your appointment, you may be given an option to schedule a Televisit with your provider. All that is needed is an email address and a cell (smart) phone number. About 30 minutes before your appointment, you will receive a text message with a link. You can click on this link around your appointment time and you will begin a Televisit with your provider.
 
One of the most convenient connections to your healthcare provider is having access to the online Patient Information Portal provided by your McLeod Physician Associates office.
 
If you have not already signed up for the Portal, contact your McLeod Physician office. The staff will provide instructions and login information. You can also download the Healow app for your Apple or Android mobile device.
 
In addition to preparing your access for Televisits, the Patient Portal allows you to: 

• Send a message your medical team. 
• View lab results. 
• View clinic notes.
• Request a prescription refill. 
• Even download documents from your record.

Best of all, this information gateway is available at your fingertips using your phone or mobile device.
