Ashley Atkinson, OTR/L, CLT-LANA, WCC
Ashley is the Senior Occupational Therapist for the Lymphedema Treatment Program and General Outpatient Occupational Therapy Program. She graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. She completed a Lymphedema Certification with the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in 2003, followed by a Wound Care Certification from the Wound Care Education Institute in 2008, and a certification by the Lymphology Association of North America in 2009. Ashley is STAR ClinicianÂ® Certified, specializing in oncology rehabilitation, and is the McLeod STAR Program Coordinator. Ashley joined McLeod Rehabilitation Services in 2001.
Cindy is a 2002 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina and began working with McLeod following graduation. Her professional clinical background is in acute care with emphasis on neuro and orthopedic patients. Cindy has been working with the McLeod Occupational Therapy Hand Center since the fall of 2005.
Rachelle graduated from D'Youville College in 2011 with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Her varied professional clinical background includes, administration, neuropsychology, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Fitness and Exercise Science. Rachelle has specialized in rehabilitation for stroke, neuro and physical disabilities in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings. She is an LVST (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) BIG certified clinician specializing in the rehabilitation of Parkinson's Disease, a WorkWell certified clinician, and is working on her Assistive Technology Professional (ATP), and Seating and Mobility Specialist (SMS) certification for the Adult Wheelchair and Seating clinic at McLeod. Rachelle is also working toward STAR certification, specializing in the rehabilitation of patients with Cancer at McLeod. Rachelle has been with McLeod since 2012.
Sharon is the Occupational Therapy Supervisor. She is a 1985 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been with McLeod since 1995. Sharon completed her Lymphedema Certification with the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in 1995. She has a varied professional background in pediatric and adult physical dysfunction, Lymphedema treatment, administration and occupational therapy education. She has also served two terms on the Roster of Accreditation Evaluators for the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.
Beth is a 1979 graduate of the University of Kansas. She has been with the McLeod Occupational Therapy Hand Center since 1996. Beth has a varied professional background in inpatient and outpatient rehab, administration and teaching for specialized care in the outpatient setting. She has been treating hand and upper extremity injuries for 30 years.

Krista received a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University in 1996. Her professional background includes administration, aquatic therapy, stroke and neuro rehab, and adult physical dysfunction in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Krista is an LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) BIG clinician, specializing in the treatment of Parkinson's Disease. Krista is also interested in community mobility and driving rehabilitation and is pursuing her Driving Rehabilitation Specialist certification. Krista joined McLeod in 2012.
Katie graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences followed by a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2009. Prior to coming to McLeod, Katie worked with pediatric rehabilitation. She completed a Lymphedema Certification with the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in 2012. Katie is also pursuing STAR certification, specializing in oncology rehabilitation. She joined McLeod Rehabilitation Services in 2012.
John received a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University and has worked since 1978 in returning injured workers to their jobs. He has been published in the Journal of Occupational Therapy. He has presented papers at regional, national and international programs on the topics of Occupational Therapy practice and Industrial Rehabilitation. John's Industrial Rehabilitation practice includes patients of varied diagnoses such as: Orthopedics, Eurosurgery, Neurology, Rheumatology, Cardiology, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. John is also a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Army Medical Specialist Corps where he served as an Occupational Therapist and an Upper Extremity Orthopedic Physician Extender.
