McLeod Air Reach is a 24/7 Medical Air Transport Program that Provides Rapid Access to the Tertiary Care Facilities of McLeod Regional Medical Center

McLeod Air Reach is for all patients within a 150-mile radius of its centrally located station in Marion County.

The areomedical helicopter is a BELL 407 single engine helicopter, designed and built for patient and crew transports and equipped with the most advanced life support equipment.  The McLeod Air Reach Crew is comprised of critical care trained medical professionals that care for both pediatric and adult patients.

The air ambulance service provider for McLeod Health is Med-Trans Corporation.  Med-Trans has been in the air ambulance service for over 20 years.  They have an outstanding record for safety and meet all air ambulance requirements and state and federal regulations.
