Ways to Give Back

The Loris Seacoast Healthcare Foundation was established in 2006 as an independent, not-for-profit, charitable organization charged with providing the philanthropic resources necessary to ensure McLeod Loris and McLeod Seacoast provide quality healthcare services and improves the overall quality of life in our local community. Gifts to the Foundation through special events, planned giving and online giving provide support to help fund mission critical programs, services and equipment.

The Foundation has raised over $2 million to support the on-going expansion and capital projects at both McLeod Loris and McLeod Seacoast. These efforts have been made possible from the generous support of individuals and community partners who believe in making quality healthcare available to everyone in our community.
For more information about special events or how you can donate, please contact the Foundation at (843) 390-8215.

McLeod volunteers make a meaningful difference everyday to our patients, visitors and staff. These dedicated men and women work in all areas of the medical center, donating hundreds of hours each month. We offer volunteer placements at our reception desks, waiting areas, gift shops, and many other departments. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please call our volunteer office (843) 390-8326 or download the McLeod Volunteer Application and a Disclosure and Background Check form. Simply complete the SC background check form and return it with your application. Please note the cost of the background check is covered by the medical center. We require a note from your physician stating that you are physically and mentally able to perform volunteer duties.

Once you complete the two forms, please return them to the volunteer office at:
