Decontamination Haz Mat Team at McLeod Dillon

(5/14/10) - McLeod Medical Center Dillon has 25 employee volunteers who have undergone extensive decontamination training. This is an interdisciplinary team from virtually all areas of the hospital. There were a series of training sessions consisting of classroom time and outdoor exercises, each training concluding with a drill. The region has the distinction of being the leader in the nation for cardiovascular disease and has been coined the Buckle of the Stroke Belt by the Department of Health and Environmental Control.
