(6/07/10) - McLeod Hospice is offering a new support group for individuals coping with the loss of a loved one. Anyone in the community who is dealing with a loss, whether it's hospice related or not, can participate in the support group.
The purpose of the grief support group is to provide:
ways for dealing with grief
support for the process of grief
an environment to meet other people who are grieving
an opportunity to share and receive emotional support
Each month, support group meetings are held in Florence and Dillon. In Florence, the grief support group meets the last Wednesday of each month at 12:00 p.m. in the McLeod Hospice House located at 1203 E. Cheves Street. The Dillon Grief Support Group meets the third Thursday of each month at 12:00 p.m. in the McLeod Medical Center Dillon Private Dining Room.
