McLeod Sports Medicine to Host Coaches Clinic

(8/20/10) - The McLeod Sports Medicine Coaches Clinic is an educational seminar for all coaches who are responsible for the health and safety of recreational athletes. This free educational seminar is designed around fall sporting events.
The agenda includes offensive/defensive fundamentals, equipment fitting, heat illness and hydration, basic first aid, concussion management, knee injury and return to play, and stretching and conditioning.

Presenters include: Dr. Brian Blair of McLeod Orthopaedics, Dr. Pat Denton of Pee Dee Orthopaedic Associates, former Clemson Defensive Coach Gerald Baxter, and McLeod Sports Medicine Certified Athletic Trainers.

The McLeod Sports Medicine Coaches Clinic will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at the City of Florence Parks and Beautification located at 513 Barnes Street, Florence.
