Miracle Miles Ride ... The Incredible Journey

On June 27, Larry McElveen, Director of McLeod Information Technology Business Operations, embarked on The Miracle Miles Ride, a 17-day, 10,000-mile motorcycle ride to Alaska and back. His purpose was simple - to raise funds to help children in need of specialized care through the McLeod Children's Hospital and Pediatric Rehabilitation Services.

Each day throughout Larry's excursion, he shared the story of a child he was riding for in hopes that his journey would help them through their own special journey. Donations poured in from generous individuals throughout the United States and Canada. Larry's incredible journey raised more than $32,000, providing hope for so many children in need.
