Remembering Legacy Society Members

The power and impact of a legacy commitment is often realized as well made plans and wishes are fulfilled.

This has become evident as we remember two thoughtful and generous members of the Dr. F. H. McLeod Legacy Society...Betty-Ann Darby and Dwight Jenkinson. While already members of the Society for endowed scholarships, both Betty-Ann and Dwight made the decision to also use their estates to perpetuate the care they valued during their lives.

Blessings Often Arrive in an Uncommon Way

Larry and Lillian Burns are extremely grateful as they have recently experienced some uncommon and unexpected blessings.

Larry who is 60 years old has spent his entire life in Bennettsville, SC. He has always worked long, hard hours for a sand and gravel company and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Last year, however, he lost his job and his health insurance benefits.

Boulineau's Donation Benefits McLeod Loris Seacoast Pediatric Rehabilitation Program

Boulineau’s IGA recently completed its Children’s Miracle Network Summer Balloon Campaign benefiting McLeod Children’s Hospital. During the four-week campaign, $3,163.93 was donated by staff and customers. The funds raised will benefit McLeod Loris Seacoast Pediatric Rehabilitation.

McLeod Mobile Mammography Unit Screens 10,000th Patient

For more than five years, the McLeod Mobile Mammography Unit has made a significant impact on the lives of women across Northeastern South Carolina, detecting a total of 42 cases of breast cancer in more than eleven counties throughout the region.
