Mr. Scott is an attorney with Turner Padget Graham & Laney, PA. He joined the McLeod Foundation Board as a Trustee in 2013. He is a McLeod Fellow and serves on the Grants Committee and is Chair of the Professional Advisory Council. Mr. Scott’s hobbies include golf, the outdoors, travel, and USC sports. He is married to Ashley, and they have one child.
John received a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University and has worked since 1978 in returning injured workers to their jobs. He has been published in the Journal of Occupational Therapy. He has presented papers at regional, national and international programs on the topics of Occupational Therapy practice and Industrial Rehabilitation. John's Industrial Rehabilitation practice includes patients of varied diagnoses such as: Orthopedics, Eurosurgery, Neurology, Rheumatology, Cardiology, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. John is also a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Army Medical Specialist Corps where he served as an Occupational Therapist and an Upper Extremity Orthopedic Physician Extender.
