A variety of group fitness classes such as Yoga, Pilates, Step and Power Cycle are offered daily, Monday - Friday.

GROUP FITNESS LAND CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Ab Blast: It’s crunch time! Come join us for an intense 10-15 minute
abdominal conditioning class.
Extreme Cardio: A challenging cardio combo workout! Perform
alternating hi-lo, stepping, and running drills in this heart pumping,
action packed class!
Extreme Step: Get ready for a full class of non-stop step for the
intermediate to advanced stepper. Extreme Hip-Hop Step will offer
a funky flavor to your traditional step class. Extreme Step and Pump adds toning moves using light weights and resistance bands.
Fit for Life: A fun, energetic, low-impact aerobic and strength
training workout designed for those members who are 50 and over.
Fresh Start Pilates Mat: Learn the basics of pilates mat. This class is
perfect for participants new to Pilates or those looking for a less intense
workout.
From the Chair: A chair-based exercise class offering a non-impact
cardio and toning workout. This class includes stretching moves to
increase flexibility and range of motion.
Funk: This high energy choreographed dance class uses current hiphop
moves to give you an intense hot workout.
Instructor’s Choice: This class will offer a different cardio format
each week. Call the Hotline to check for class format and instructor
name.
On the Circuit: An exciting way to cardio train! This workout will
combine cardio intervals and other conditioning activities to provide
the ultimate cross-training class. Hit the Road classes are based on
the exercise bikes in Studio II. In the Studio classes are based on
cardio activities in the specified studio.
Pilates Mat/Core Strength: If you want to learn to move through your
day with symmetry and grace, have lean, flat abs and strong posture,
this is the class for you!
Power Cycle: This high intensity, interval training indoor cycling
workout is designed to improve performance, increase strength and
endurance. This class is full of power-packed intervals, aggressive hill
climbs, and drills to push you to your personal edge!
Rep Reebok: Define yourself! This class is a revolutionary reinvention
of traditional group strength training. Rep Reebok rotates training
through endurance, strength, and power cycles.
Trekking: This treadmill based class is the perfect workout for walkers
and runners of all levels. Whether you are a beginner or training for a
road race, take your fitness goals to the next level using a variety of
speed, strength, and endurance intervals. Get ready to sweat! Other
cardio equipment may be used. Class will meet in the upstairs Cardiac
Rehab. area.
Turbo Kick: Turbo Kick is the hottest kick-boxing class around!
You’ll kick, punch and groove in this action-packed, super fun
workout!
Yoga, Yoga I, Power Yoga, and Sunrise Yoga: Take your workout
to the next level. These yoga classes combine flexibility training and
functional strength exercises to balance muscles, improve core strength,
and promote self-awareness and overall well being. Yoga I provides
the basic knowledge and foundations of traditional Yoga. Power Yoga is a combination of strong, flowing movements to create a high-energy
workout. (Prior yoga experience is preferred in order to participate in
Power Yoga.) Start your day energized and refreshed by participating
in our Sunrise Yoga class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
mornings.
Zumba: This fun-filled hi-lo impact cardio class combines latin moves,
hip-hop, funk, and belly dancing! You will have fun with this one!
Zumba 101 is an introductory class for participants new to Zumba or
those looking for a less intense workout.

GROUP FITNESS POLICIES
- All schedules in this brochure are subject to change.
- 2 students must be present for class or it will be canceled.
- No students will be permitted to enter a class more than 10 minutes late. This is for your own safety.
- If you must leave class early, please be sure to cool down and stretch properly.
- Please inform your instructor of any injuries and limitations of which he or she should be aware.
- Proper footwear is essential. Aerobic or cross-training shoes are recommended. No running shoes are allowed. Please ask an instructor to help you determine the
correct shoe for you. Participants are encouraged to wear water fitness shoes in aqua classes.
- All participants must review the pool policies before using the pool. This is for your own safety.
- Each workout is YOUR workout. Classes are not competitions. Success is measured from within. Remember to HAVE FUN!
