McLeod Sports Medicine: The Physical Therapy Choice for the Active Person

Physically active individuals of any form now have a choice to regain normal function or to improve and enhance their physical abilities. The McLeod Sports Medicine Center offers outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy services.

McLeod Sports Medicine is one of the largest sports medicine specific staffs in the Southeast. This uniquely qualified and experienced staff has been treating patients since 1992.

Dr. Tim Dancy of McLeod Family/Sports Medicine Center is the Medical Director of McLeod Sports Medicine. Dr. Dancy is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine and serves as the team physician for numerous high school and college teams including Francis Marion University, Florence-Darlington Technical College and the Florence Red Wolves.

Outpatient Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy
Orthopedic and sports therapy services are available for individuals with acute or chronic orthopedic and sports related conditions. An evaluation is performed to examine each patient's muscle strength and endurance, movement control, joint mobility/stability, posture, balance, and walking. A rehabilitation program is developed from the results of the initial evaluation to return the patient to their previous level of function.
