Our Occupational Health center is fully staffed and equipped to handle non life-threatening occupational injuries and illnesses. Our staff of Occupational Health Care Specialists will quickly assess and treat the individual and then communicate with your organization regarding their status.
Features
Rapid Access - We can offer you same day service for injury treatment; no advance appointment is necessary. Our goal is to have your employee in and out in 90 minutes in all cases not requiring extensive labs, X-rays or surgical intervention.
Return to Work - McLeod Occupational Health believes it is important to understand and follow your policies, procedures and paperwork protocols. We want you to educate us on your company's return-to-work requirements and use of transitional duty. Our goal is to work with you to ensure injured employees can remain at work and safely perform productive jobs
Injury Management - All injured workers under our care are tracked throughout their treatment process. We will keep you informed every step of the way. In some cases, injuries require additional treatment, referral to a specialist, and/or admission to the hospital. We take key steps, such as making appointments for your employee with specialty providers on an expedited basis and following up on the results of these visits.
Management of Chronic and Complex Cases - Your employee can often return to work the same day after treatment for an occupational illness or injury. However, in some instances, an injury or illness results in a chronic or complex condition. In those situations, we would like to work with your case management team to develop a plan to achieve maximum medical improvement and case closure.
Employee On-Site Nursing - McLeod registered nurses are available for assignment to your work location to provide ongoing medical help and direction on workplace safety.
Hours of Operation - The Center's hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. After hour coverage is provided by the McLeod Emergency Department, with next business day follow up on all cases by the Occupational Health Services staff.
